EAI ARTISTS' WEB PROJECTS LAUNCH
EAI 535 W. 22nd Street, New York City

April 23, 2003 7-9pm
Demo of Vernacular 8pm

EAI launched a new initiative for the creation of innovative digital artworks for the Web. EAI worked with artists Torsten Zenas Burns and Darrin Martin; Beth Coleman and Howard Goldkrand; and Tony Martin to create and present three new online projects that explore the potential of digital media as a vehicle for creative discourse and cultural practice. All of the artists were present at the launch to introduce and demonstrate their projects, which were installed with sculptural and projection elements.
