EAI: New Works Spring 2002 


EAI distributes a collection of over 3,000 video and interactive media works by artists. We are pleased to introduce new works and new artists to the EAI collection.

Phyllis Baldino, Seoungho Cho, Tony Cokes, Cheryl Donegan, Ursula Hodel, Mike Kelley, Kristin Lucas, Tony Oursler, Shelly Silver, Leslie Thornton and The Wooster Group are among the artists whose new video works are featured.

Artists new to EAI include Peggy Ahwesh, with works from 1985 to 2001, and Valie Export, with performance works from the 1960s and 70s and an interactive CD-ROM.

Also new to the collection are early video works by Shirley Clarke, Gordon Matta-Clark, and Rita Myers, as well as Mary Lucier's newly restored selected works from 1975 to 2000, and a series of tapes from the Vasulkas' archive.
