Early Tapes

This page contains Steina and Woody Vasulka's typed descriptions of eleven experiments in electronic processing, carried out between 1970 and 1973, with technical specifications and identification of the tools used. The descriptions and production notes written by the Vasulkas may be viewed by clicking on Videotape description. For further information on these tapes, click on the title, or visit the EAI Online catalogue.

(Note: There are discrepancies between the length of the tapes available in the EAI collection and the times noted in the original descriptions. According to Steina, the Vasulkas made a decision to shorten many of the tapes in order to simplify distribution and screenings.)
