On August 1st, 2019, EAI presented its third installment of EAI: Invites—an evening with pathbreaking feminist artist Martha Wilson. Wilson selected sexually explicit and audacious work from the collections of both EAI and Franklin Furnace, including titles by Ellen Cantor, Barbara Hammer, Mike Kelley, Cynthia Maughan, Bruce Nauman, Carolee Schneemann, Annie Sprinkle,and Julie Zando.
On November 1st, 2017, Electronic Arts Intermix presented Barbara Hammer: Artist Talk and Screening, organized on the occasion of the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art’s exhibition Barbara Hammer: Evidentiary Bodies, her first major New York retrospective. The evening spotlighted EAI's distribution of Hammer's work, focusing on the artist's early video work including pieces like Superduke Meets Madame X and No No Nooky TV, followed by a demonstration of her early web project http://echonyc.com/~lesbians and a conversation with Sally Berger.
