Video Earth Tokyo

Ko Nakajima, animator and video artist, founded Video Earth Tokyo in 1971. The collective broadcast their documentaries and experimental works on cable television, and participated in computer graphics conferences internationally. Video Earth Tokyo is still active today. Among Nakajima's solo works include the Biological Cycle series (1971-), My Life (1976-), Mt. Fuji (1985), Dormen (1987), and Ranjitoto (1990).   full biography
