distribution and preservation of media art.

Just in time for the holidays: watch Carolee Schneemann's performance-lecture Pinea Silva: The Lost Meanings of the Christmas Tree, a brisk psychoanalytic journey through the stock symbolism of Christmas. Originally performed for EAI's 40th anniversary, it is a funny and disarming approach to the holiday, unearthing questions of gender, sexuality, power and culture.
