Eclipse

1993, 9:50 min, color, sound

Writes Gorewitz: "An eclipse can be visible — shadows passing for a moment, unified, then dividing. At times, there appears to be an eclipse of values and truths. The landscape briefly disappears, everything appears to be fluid, malleable. This tape includes images recorded in Australia, Japan, Holland, and the United States during the past few years. Among other things it comments on the contradictions between popular culture and economic realities."
