Soft Targets & Keys to the Mission

Here Gorewitz brings together two new works, thematically related in their exploration of the climate of fear that has developed in the United States since 9/11. Of Soft Targets, Gorewitz writes: "[I] realized that anything I was recording was potentially a soft target for violent extremists. At the same time, as a visual artist I'm also looking for 'soft' targets as images." A cinematic collage, Keys to the Mission juxtaposes protest scenes from San Francisco and New York.
